MouseTracks 2007 6.5 SQL Server Database update problems

I'm attempting to Install the newest version/update the database. The install works fine. I have exclusive access to the SQL Server database (all clients confirmed closed). I am using the correct sa userid and password.

When I press the final confirmation to go aheaed and update the database, I get the messsage

"The database can't be upgraded. You need to restore a backup copy of your database and try the upgrade process again. Contact GRITWARE support for further direction. To connect to another database, hold down the 'shift' key while starting Mouse Tracks. 5: Invalid procedure call or argument"

I have recovered the database from backup and tried this operation over again three times from two different machines. Any ideas?
Forum: Mouse Tracks

Enterprise/SQL Server on Vista error

I have MouseTracks 2007 enterprise, connected to an SQL server database. This works fine from our Windows XP clients. On both Windows vista workstations I've installed the MouseTracks 2007 software on, they can connect to the database and bring up the computer, software, or other listings. However, when you double click on an item to bring it up in detail, we get a pop-up message entitled "ado_CompDetail":

Data source name not found and no default driver specified.

We would really like to use this program on Windows vista. Thanks for any help you can provide!
Forum: Mouse Tracks

Error Disposing of Computers and Peripherals

Description
If your database was upgraded from a prior version of Mouse Tracks and the SA SQL account was not used to perform the upgrade you may experience the attached error when trying to dispose of a peripheral or a computer.

Cause:
Since SA wasn't used to upgrade your database the upgrade process created tables in your database that are not 'owned' by the default user account (DBO). When a computer or peripheral is removed from the database an error occurs when Mouse Tracks tries to cascade changes to related tables via a SQL Trigger.

Resolution
Change the Owner of the new tables to 'DBO'.

Step 1:
Open SQL Server Enterprise Manager and browse to your Mouse Tracks database.

Step 2:
Open SQL Query Analyzer from the Tools menu.

Step 3:
Execute the following statment in the Query window...

USE mtDatabase
GO
EXEC sp_changeobjectowner 'mtUser.periphAttach', 'dbo'
GO

WHERE mtDatabase is the Mouse Tracks database
WHERE mtUser is the current table owner
WHERE periphAttach is the name of the Mouse Tracks table which you are changing the owner.

Step 4:
Repeat step 3 for each table in Mouse Tracks where the owner isn't DBO. Only change the tableName (periphAttach above) for subsequent tables.

Applies to:
SQL Enterprise Edition Database Upgraded with the incorrect SQL user account

Forum: Mouse Tracks

The only version listed on the Downloads page for WebTracks is the Mouse Tracks 2003. I have upgraded to MT2007.
