Please add more user defined fields. It would be nice to add as many as we want and the application would be smart enough to build this into the SQL DB automatically. Secondly, it would be very handy to apply rules to these user defined fields. For instance: =IF Field{Type}="AVL", THEN VISIBLE ELSE HIDE

Additionally, add the functionality to all fields to allow to be 'Required' but also 'Required - Not Editable' so that individuals cannot add whatever they want to the drop downs. The only way would be through the admin panel.

I understand your suggestion on the user definable fields being database table dependent.

I'm not sure what you mean by rules for the user definable fields.

You can currently prevent users from adding items to drop down lists.  The only users who can do this have 'Full Access' to the module.  If you give your users 'Normal' access they will not be allowed to do this.

The rules would make user defined fields show or not show depending on what is populated. If I am inventorying a cellular phone, I don't need fields showing that might be printer specific. Especially if they are required fields. However, if I select Cell Phone instead of Printer, then there would be fields that would show pertaining to cell phones.
