I have 2 managers who only want to see the tickets for the techs in their group only. I made 2 groups Computer Ops and programming but they don't show up in the options to choose from; The view settings give them all of the techs which they don't want.

Hi,

They most likely are not showing up since any there are not any tickets yet assigned to these groups.  If there are tickets assigned to these new tech groups make sure that these groups are not empty (one or more techs is assigned to the group). 

In addition you may find it useful to click on the following person icon....

When clicked it will toggle between "my tickets", "not my tickets", and "all tickets".  This way you can easily filter without having to select from the drop down list.

Both groups I created have at least 3 techs in them. They also have test tickets which should make them show up. Both managers only want to enter either Programmer Group or IT and see his groups tickets from drop down

Hi,

I see your point.  What I think is happening is that the list is filtered by default on "my tickets" since the manager isn't actually a member of these tech groups he is not seeing them.  He will need to click on "person" icon until it shows "all tickets"....

These choices should then be available to select.
