Hi,
I'm trying to generate a report that shows user information, computer information and software information all on one page.
Basically, need to know which computer have Autocad, what are the specs of the computer and the user location and department that uses that computer.

I states in your custom SQL report that only a maximum of one joined table is possible so is this a report I can generate in SQL management studio?
Also, is there a way to see the SQL code that is used to generate the existing reports?

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi,

If the report is of type 'SQL' you can see the statement in the report's SQL tab in design view.  I will look into this and see if I can come up with something that gives you the information you need in one report.  I'll be out of the office most of today so it may be a day before I can get you this.

Thanks!

Thanks, I appreciate you looking into this, no worry about the timeline. Our users are imported from AD so all the department and title information is in the user table that we need to match up with their computer and software.

Hi,

I found something that might work out for you.  It uses two tables but from the software product filter you can assume this is for all computers that have Autocad.  Create a new report using an SQL statement and put in the following for the SQL...

SELECT compTag, compName, compIPAddr, userID, userFName, userLName, userDept FROM Computer LEFT JOIN tbl_user ON (tbl_user.userID=computer.compUserID) WHERE compTag IN (SELECT compTag FROM SftLicense WHERE SftProduct LIKE '%Autocad%')
