Is it possible to create a separate instance of Webtracks where you would be able to run a second help desk system?

For example we have our internal help desk system where our employees send help desk tickets and search the knowledgebase. Could we have a second instance where a separate group of “Outside” customers could connect to, submit help tickets and view a knowledge base (Separate from the internal knowledgebase)

Hi Kyle,

This would be possible.  Basically it is just installing Web Tracks (would require a separate license) on another server. 

If you were going to set it up on a separate server the installation can be done using the normal downloadable installer.  If you want it on the same server as your other installation, it can be done but will require the manual creation of a new site and some additional IIS configuration.  I can help with this if you decide to go this way.

Thanks for the quick response Thoese.

In our situation I don't think the application we would be using the 2nd held desk for is critical enough to justify a second licence. This is good information though if we want to implement this in the future.
